Patients hospitalized at the Mental Rehabilitation Center can meet their loved ones during their stay. Visits are an important part of the rehabilitation process.
The conditions of visits vary depending on the patient's condition and the specific ward. In general:
- Visits must not interfere with the therapeutic programme on the wards, so it is always advisable to consult the attending physician about the time of the visit. Some wards have clearly defined times for visits.
- Visits can take place either in the common areas of the ward or in other places of the Mental Rehabilitation Centre (e.g. café, atrium, park...) depending on the patient's condition, the type of ward and the decision of the attending physician. With few exceptions, visitors are not allowed in the rooms.
- We do not recommend visits to children under the age of 15.
- It is not advisable to bring food supplies for more than one or two days.
- It is strictly prohibited to bring alcohol, addictive substances, weapons, or other items that threaten the safety of patients and staff to the Mental Rehabilitation Center.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be removed from the hospital.
Please refer to the Hospital's House Rules for complete visitation policies or contact the nursing staff upon request. We also ask all visitors to be as considerate and cooperative as possible with the staff caring for your loved one. It is the best way to a peaceful and successful treatment.
