GARDEN THERAPY

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to a clinical seminar organised by the Centre for Mental Rehabilitation (CDR) Beroun, focusing on garden therapy.

This method uses nature and working with plants to strengthen physical and mental health, reduce stress and improve motor and cognitive skills. It combines elements of horticulture, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, pedagogy and psychology. At the Mental Rehabilitation Centre, patients apply it to growing and harvesting vegetables and caring for plants on terraces, in the vineyard and in the hospital park. This method brings joy, promotes relaxation, cooperation and social integration.
