The programme has been developed by the leading Czech psychiatrist, Prof. MUDr. Ján Praško Pavlov Csc., together with the head physician , MUDr. Tereza Petrásková, Ph.D. The treatment combines a wide range of activities – from psychoeducational sessions, through group and individual psychotherapy sessions, to complementary therapies focusing on sporting and creative activities.
The CDR team has extensive experience in working with attention deficit disorders. Since spring 2025, the Centre has been running a twelve-day diagnostic and educational programme, the aim of which is to diagnose disorders, supplemented by psychoeducational modules and complementary activities. The programme has received excellent feedback.
The psychotherapy programme, which may or may not follow on from previous treatment at the CDR, is thus the next logical step, as explained by the head physician for both programmes , Dr Tereza Petrásková, Ph.D. “We know that an ADHD diagnosis is only the beginning. It is good to know the diagnosis, but it is at least as important to know how to work with it. Our aim is therefore to offer clients comprehensive care and support at every stage,” she says.
Those interested in participating in the programme who have an official diagnosis from their psychiatrist or psychologist can book an assessment with the department coordinator by emailing balikova@nember.cz.
