Mental Rehabilitation Centre celebrates one year since its opening

The Mental Rehabilitation Centre represents a significant step forward in the field of psychiatric care in the Czech Republic. It was opened on 20 June 2023 and a huge amount of work has been done in the past twelve months of operation. More than 2,200 patients have already found help in the modern environment of the Centre and further expansion of care is planned for the coming year, with new job opportunities.

The Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital is enjoying increasing interest, not only from patients but also from guests who have taken the time to get to know the operation of the individual departments. Most recently, we were visited by students from prestigious universities in the United States, who enjoyed the excursion very much.

On Friday 28 June 2024, the Commissioner for Human Rights, Mgr. Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková, who since February 2023 has also been the National Coordinator for the Adaptation and Integration of Refugees from Ukraine and Deputy Minister for European Affairs of the Czech Republic.
