This year's all-day event to celebrate Children's Day was planned at the Mirakulum amusement park, which is packed with a wide selection of children's attractions - from trampolines and giant swings to various types of climbing frames, mazes, slides, a forest city, an animal trail and many others.
Although the weather was not conducive to outdoor activities, 470 of our employees and their children were not discouraged and headed to Miracle for some great fun. It was enough to prepare well for the wet conditions and everyone enjoyed the park in Milovice very much. In addition, we prepared a surprise for each "celebrant" in the form of a voucher for lemonade, hot dogs and ice cream.
One of the visitors with her four children was Eva Chlumská from the AKESO Holding headquarters. "When we were approaching the place, we thought that we probably wouldn't last long, because it was really pouring. So, when the children get wet, we will go home. In the end we were there until the end and the kids got soaked three times in that time. Each time they changed their clothes and continued to have fun. They didn't mind the wet and we were all very happy. I would never have believed that such a rainy children's day would be such a success. Thank you very much, and thank you for the refreshments," said Eva Chlumská.
Due to the rain, many members of the public did not come to the park. Fewer people in the area meant that our employees, and especially their children, had the play elements practically to themselves. "We prepared well for the weather, which made us enjoy it very much. We were in Miraculus privately last year. It was nice and crowded, so we had to wait in line for some of the attractions. On Saturday, that problem was completely eliminated. Thank you very much for a great day," said Jaroslava Vacková from the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun with a smile.
Another person who went to the park with his children despite the weather was Jindřich Choutka, a construction foreman from Construction Team, who also thanked us for the successful event. "Although the weather was not in our favour, the children were very happy. They didn't care that it was raining," remarked a colleague from the construction division of the AKESO medical holding.
