At the Mental Rehabilitation Centre, we draw inspiration from experiences across Europe

Michaela Pálová, Bc., DiS., and ward nurse at the Mental Rehabilitation Centre (pictured on the left), attended an international workshop organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) in Ljubljana, Slovenia, at the end of May. The meeting brought together experts from a number of European countries who shared their experiences with improving care and approaches that support the recovery of people with mental illness.

The workshop focused on sharing experiences with the WHO QualityRights methodology, which supports the development of high-quality, respectful care and promotes respect for human rights in the field of mental health.

“The meeting reminded me that even small changes in everyday care can have a big impact on how a patient feels. Mutual respect, communication, and a partnership-based approach are the foundation of high-quality psychiatric care,” says Bc. Michaela Pálová, DiS.

We are pleased that our experts are actively involved in international collaboration and bring new insights and inspiration from abroad to the Mental Rehabilitation Centre.
