During the fair, hospital employees and patients could choose from donations donated by other employees and products created by patients of the Mental Rehabilitation Centre during therapy sessions. In addition, this year's fourth edition brought a novelty - non-profit organizations from Beroun and the surrounding area also sold their products. Visitors to the fair could directly support the Dobromysl organisation, Charity Beroun or the Babíkov association by buying at their stand.
"This year's cooperation with charities made the whole event even nicer than in previous years. I'm very happy that we managed to raise so much money for a good cause and that the director continues the tradition and always doubles the amount raised," praises RNB Community Manager Lucie Lišková, who organized the fair.
Anyone who bought something at the fair could suggest what the proceeds from the event should be used for when paying. As in previous years, one organisation was then drawn from the ideas to receive the money. This year, the registered association Babíkov, which works with the elderly and tries to involve them in active life, was chosen.
Moreover, the association has been cooperating with RNB for a long time, as well as with another facility from the AKESO medical holding, the Hořovice Hospital. The knitted and crocheted socks and octopuses that the clients make help hospitalized patients to make their time in the hospital more pleasant.
