Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the vision and daily functioning of modern psychiatric care, where top professionalism meets with a human and sensitive approach and emphasis on patient comfort.
The programme included guided tours of the centre's facilities, including inpatient wards, outpatient services, therapy rooms and inpatient care. Those interested were able to get a glimpse into an environment that combines traditional psychiatric practices with innovative approaches such as creativity therapy or other supportive programs.
An important part of the Open Day was the presentation of offers for future employees. During these, participants were able to learn more about career opportunities in healthcare, working conditions and the benefits offered by CDR.
"I learned about the event from social media, but also from my friend who works here and highly recommended the visit. I have to say that it far exceeded my expectations. The facilities are beautiful and the environment is very pleasant, and I think that's important to feel comfortable in the workplace. It is also important to get to know the team of people who are behind it all, and I have had this confirmed by a friend who is very happy here," says Lucie Nováková from Prague, a student of psychology at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, about her visit to the Centre.
The event served not only as an inspiring meeting for future colleagues and the general public, but also as an insight into the functioning of modern psychiatric care and the professional environment that the CDR creates in the heart of the Central Bohemian Region.
