The Healthcare 2024 event was held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala, who opened the conference and spoke about the future of the Czech healthcare system, and the Governor of the Pilsen Region Rudolf Špoták. In total, 550 guests attended the event. Discussions on topics such as the sustainability of the Czech healthcare system, its future, the revolution in digitalisation of healthcare and disease management were attended by experts from across healthcare disciplines.
The rich expert programme also included the topic of hospitals, which was attended by František Vlček, Director of Development and Innovation at AKESO Holding, as a guest. During the three-hour debate, topics such as new developments in the reimbursement decree, the financial outlook for the coming year or digital applications as a solution for reducing the risk of infections in hospitals were discussed.
