One of the lecturers was the head of the Centre for Mental Rehabilitation Pavel Doubek, M.D., Ph. D. He presented his lecture entitled Chronobiological Therapy at the Symposium of the Czech Neuropsychopharmacological Society, in which he talked about the temporal sequences of pharmacotherapy use in relation to circadian rhythms. "The programme was very interestingly put together," praised Pavel Doubek for his participation in the conference. "In addition to the classic biological-psychiatric topics, there were also more modern or rather marginal issues, such as treatment with psychedelics," the chief physician added.
Another participant from the CDR , Tereza Hynková, MD, also praised the conference. The most inspiring for me was the sharing of the practical experience of the ICU with the introduction of a non-smoking closed ward."
In addition to Pavel Doubek, Prof. Ján Praško, M.D., CSc., who is mainly responsible for the structure of psychotherapy programmes at the CDR, also gave a lecture at the Luhačovice conference. His plenary lecture on Friday morning was entitled Effectiveness of online CBT in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders. This is a topic related to the online therapy platform Mindwell, which Professor Prashko co-founded and which, like the Centre for Mental Rehabilitation, is part of the AKESO medical holding company.
Both companies also presented themselves to the conference participants at a joint stand in the partner zone. Those interested could learn about the advantages of treatment and employment at the CDR, what treatment programmes the centre offers or about other activities of the AKESO Group facilities.
