The Centre for Mental Rehabilitation (CDR) in Beroun offers a new psychotherapy programme for adults and young adults aged 17 and over diagnosed with ADHD. It aims to help clients cope with their diagnosis through support, education and practical experience. The first run starts on Oct. 13 and treatment is fully covered by insurance.

Complementary therapies are an integral part of treatment at the Mental Rehabilitation Centre. Patients can take advantage of art therapy, aquatic therapy or culinary therapy during their stay. Even an activity as common as cooking can become a useful tool in the care of patients with mental illness. Pavlína Dvořáková, who is in charge of culinary therapy at the Centre for Mental Rehabilitation, also knows this.
