"The theme of the visit was New Technologies in Healthcare, in which our facility is one of the European leaders. We presented to the students the overall philosophy of AKESO Holding, the methods we use and our vision for the future. Of course, European and especially Czech healthcare works differently than in the States, but our goals are the same - a satisfied patient and staff. I am convinced that these international visits are of great benefit and the exchange of experience during the discussion certainly enriched both sides," says František Vlček, MD, Ph.D., MHA, Director of Development and Innovation at AKESO Holding.
As part of its international programmes, the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital also hosts students and experts from other countries; this year, for example, physiotherapy students from Finland and Greece came to visit.
