Vellayan Subbiah, Executive Vice Chairman of Tube Investments of India ("TII") and Chairman of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Co. Ltd ("Chola"), was announced as the winner of this year's EY Entrepreneur of the Year global final at a ceremony in Salle des Étoiles, Monaco. He was selected from 51 national winners representing 47 countries and regions, including Sotirios Zavalianis. In total, nearly five thousand competitors took part in the current edition of EY Entrepreneur of the Year.
"I never expected to experience such a global event. I had the opportunity to meet all the national winners, people who work hard to make their dreams come true. The winner won deservedly, what the family over four generations and especially the winner have achieved is incredible," says Sotirios Zavalianis, EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Czech Republic, describing his impressions of the global final.
